Tool Safety Notice.
Hand and power tools are designed to be used safely. Most injuries come from rushing, distraction, or skipping the obvious precautions.

Product safety declarations.
- CE marking — all Zzair7 power tools, electrical testing equipment, and items containing electronic components carry the CE mark and comply with the EU Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, and where applicable RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU.
- UKCA marking — same items also carry the UKCA mark for UK destinations (UK Statutory Instrument 2019/696).
- Battery Regulation — Li-Ion batteries in the Drill & Drive Kit comply with EU Regulation 2023/1542 on batteries and waste batteries. Each battery is marked with the crossed-out wheelie-bin symbol and the chemistry code (Li-Ion). Do not dispose of batteries in household waste.
- WEEE — electrical and electronic equipment is marked with the crossed-out wheelie-bin symbol per Directive 2012/19/EU. Take old equipment to a designated collection point. We accept old equipment back for recycling free of charge — contact support@zzair7.com.
- Insurance — Z-AIR7 SAS carries product liability insurance (“Responsabilité Civile Professionnelle”) for general DIY tool sales. Details on request.
Product recall procedure.
If a recall is issued, registered customers are notified by email within 48 hours and the recall notice is posted at /legal-notice/. Affected products may be returned to Zzair7 at our cost for full refund or replacement. Customers who purchased without registering can check the recall notice page and contact support@zzair7.com.
Before any use.
- Read the manufacturer’s instruction sheet that came with the kit
- Inspect each tool before use — bent shafts, cracked handles, loose chuck jaws → do not use, contact us for replacement
- Match the tool to the job — a screwdriver is not a chisel
- Wear safety glasses for any drilling, sawing, hammering, or grinding work
- Tie back long hair, remove loose clothing, remove rings, and roll up sleeves when using power tools
Electrical work.
- Always turn off the breaker for the circuit before working on it
- Always test with a non-contact tester and a multimeter before touching wires
- Use only insulated tools (Zzair7 insulated screwdrivers and pliers are 1000V VDE-rated)
- Do not work on electrical systems while wet
Children.
All tools must be stored out of reach of children under 14. Power tools must be stored with batteries removed.
Power tool batteries.
The cordless drill kit uses Li-Ion batteries. Do not puncture, crush, expose to fire, or charge with non-supplied chargers. Dispose of dead batteries at a recycling point — never in household waste.
If something goes wrong.
For tool defects: email support@zzair7.com with a photo. For injury: stop immediately, get medical attention. For fire or smoke from a power tool: disconnect the battery if safe to do so, otherwise leave the room and call emergency services.
