Are these professional-grade tools?
We deliberately don’t use the phrase ‘professional grade’ — it’s marketing copy that doesn’t mean anything. Our tools are industrial-quality, sourced from the factories that supply major hand-tool brands, and built for honest household use. They are not replacements for licensed-contractor gear used 8 hours a day on a job site.
Do you ship to the United States?
Yes — we ship globally. USA orders take 5–10 business days, shipped via DHL Express from our warehouse in Balma, France. Tracking is included. USA customers are responsible for any state sales tax and any import duties (rare for orders under $800).
Are the tools branded?
No. Our tools are no-brand — generic black handles with yellow accent. This is deliberate: we don’t have the lawsuit exposure of brand-name knockoffs, and you don’t pay the brand-name markup. The factory source is the same as several well-known brands.
Can I return an opened kit?
Only for defects or damage in transit. Buyer’s-remorse returns are accepted on sealed/unopened kits within 14 days. Once a kit is opened, items like gloves, tape rolls, and sandpaper can’t be resold as new — see the full policy on our Returns page.
Does the cordless drill come with a warranty?
Yes — 24 months on the motor, 6 months on the battery. Manufacturer-direct, no registration required. Keep your order email.
How do I know which kit I need?
Each kit page lists exactly what’s inside and the repair scenarios it’s built for. If you’re starting from zero in an apartment, the Apartment Renter’s Toolbox is the right entry point. For homeowners, the Home Fix-It Kit covers 80% of household repairs.
Do you sell to businesses?
Not currently. Z-AIR7’s B2B business sold industrial machinery; the Zzair7 brand is for individual consumers. If you need volume, email support@zzair7.com and we’ll see what’s possible.
Are payments secure?
Yes. Payments are handled by Stripe, with strong customer authentication (3D Secure 2) required in the EU and UK. We never see or store your card number. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported.
Is there a satisfaction guarantee?
Two-part: 14-day no-questions returns on sealed kits, plus a 12-month replacement on any tool that fails under normal home use. We replace the failed tool — usually we don’t even need it back, because we need to flag the issue with the factory more than we need the broken piece.
Why does the disclaimer say I can’t use these for everything?
Because there are jobs that genuinely need a licensed pro — main electrical panels, gas lines, structural work, asbestos, anything that can hurt someone other than you. We sell tools to fix sinks and outlets, not to replace electricians. See our Repair Disclaimer.
